Got the inspiration to create this picture when I went to the translation office to collect my documents.

And when I opened my passport to check the details whether they were same my documents, I noticed how colourful the immigration stamps were and just couldn't help it but take this photo and layer it with a background image of the world!
Actually if you noticed, 40% of the stamps are from Singapore's Immigration..ahahaha! frequent visitor to Singapore. I wanted to put my Europe Immigration's stamps here and then realised "eew...they're all BLACK...!" doesn't matter whether its Spain, Portugal, Germany etc. they're all the same oogly colour...

so...on another note

Stood on a very scary though concrete jambatan overlooking these rail tracks. The cars were moving at freaking high speed even the lorries and buses. Russian roads really scary lah. With my heart thumping wildly in my chest, I quickly pull out my tripod and started snapping as quick as I could cause I wanted to get away from the jambatan as soon as possible. VERY SCARY experience for me! XD

This is a pic of the other side of the jambatan.

Finally we went down to the rail tracks and started taking pictures. Haven't walk on rail tracks before in my entire life! This is the first time! YEAH!!!

It was so fun taking all these pics with my friend Jem, cause we were like crazy dimwits leaving very early in the morning to catch the sunrise, UNFORTUNATELY we caught it on the wrong side of the city. @#($@*)%!!!! But I did catch one photo of the sun, after living here for 5 years, watching my FIRST sunrise. OH IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! Just that we didn't have a nice angle (wrong place right time) to catch it but here's my 'best' shot already....

Next time we're gonna be at the RIGHT place at the right time!!! XD

Homemade Mango Lassi!

Mango Lassi Recipe

INGREDIENTS

1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup milk
1 cup chopped mango (peeled and stone removed)
4 teaspoons sugar, to taste
A dash of ground cardamom (optional)

METHOD

Put mango, yogurt, milk, sugar and cardamom into a blender and blend for 2 minutes, then pour into individual glasses, and serve. Can sprinkle with a little cardamom.

The lassi can be kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours.

Today I cooked another indian dish since I *heart* indian food and have started to miss it terribly. Back home in M'sia I actually went to eat indian food (not mamak food pls, it's not the same :P) almost as many times as I ate Dim Sum (another fav food of mine, hehee)!

So before returning back to Russia, I bought a cute recipe book from BookXcess for like RM9 only and it contains almost 100+ recipes! It includes recipes from chicken, lamb, mutton, vegetable, desserts, chutney, etc etc. I even downloaded a free app for Indian Recipes into my phone! XD aahhh...the addiction~ huhuhu~~

Anyway, here's the recipe from my lil cute cookbook~

Balti Chicken

Ingredients:

3 tbsp ghee or vegetable oil

2 large onions, sliced

3 tomatoes, sliced

1/2 tsp kalonji seeds

4 black peppercorns

2 green cardomom pods

1 cinnamon stick

1tsp chilli powder

1tsp garam masala

2tsp garlic and ginger paste

700g/1lb skinless,boneless chicken breasts or thighs, diced

2tbsp natural yogurt

2tbsp chopped fresh coriander

2 fresh green chillies, deseeded and finely chopped

2tbsp lime juice

salt

Instructions:

1. Heat the ghee in a large heavy based frying pan. Add the onions and cook over a low heat, stirring occasionally for 10 min, or until golden.

Add the tomatoes, kalonji seeds, peppercorns, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, chilli powder, garam masala, and garlic and ginger paste, an season to taste with salt. Cook, stirring constantly for 5min.

2. Add the chicken and cook, stirring constantly for 5 min or until well coated in the spice paste. Stir in the yogurt. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 min.

3. Stir in the chopped coriander, chillies and lime juice. Transfer to a warmed serving dish, garnish with coriander sprigs and serve immediately.

4. Additional variation: You can add 200g broccoli divided into very small florets and 85g of small peas to the pan plus 50ml of chicken stock, when the chicken has finished its initial cooking. Increase the simmering times to 12 minutes instead.

Travelling by Qatar Airlines from Kuala Lumpur to Doha to Moscow. Luckily my flight was alright with good food and service! I didn't know that Qatar Airlines was voted Best Airline of the Year 2011 by Skytrax; though I believe some of my friends from the flight a day after would strongly disagree. lol! luck I guess. :)

Spent some time taking this photo back at home on my front room's balcony. This 'love shape' are not photoshopped! They are just mere bokeh of background street lamps, cars's headlamps, signboard's lights etc. Wanna know how to make 'em? Google "love shaped bokeh" and you'll find out how~! :)

Here's a little experiment I did with my 'kakak' Salin and lil sis, Angel.

With this photo below, we cut a slice of orange with really really sharp knife, position the camera from above and I did the spinning of the orange with a chopstick and snap the photo with a longer shutter speed. XD

And that's how you get the photo below~

The Citrus Wheel! I call it...hahaha! lameass...

Next, I used a can of soda...to be more specific - F&N's ice cream soda. HAHA!

And let the orange take a dip, lying flat on a transparent big bowl and captured the image below.

Another 9 days to Internal Medicine exam!

What I'm dreadfully afraid of in this exam isn't answering to the examiners but rather me, the examiner examining the patients. AHH!!! I hope that on that very day, my Russian became miraculously fluent, no wait...actually more of miraculously hearing and understanding the patient's answers in Russian to my questions! D:

Hmm, come to think of it...I have another 2 more years before I graduate and work as a doctor. Though I always thought of wanting to start work already but somehow, I think that student life is indeed the best, the only thing we need to worry about is exams. Food and accommodation is all paid for by parents and the only 'job' we need to do is just s-t-u-d-y. :P You can immerse yourself in your own hobbies anytime (eg. photography for me) and travel the world whenever you want to. You have 2 months of holidays to spend every year with your family and slack off doing whatever you like.

Whereas, working you gotta think of how to distribute your monthly income on daily expenses like food, accommodation, bills, car tax, petrol tax and blah blah blah...You gotta worry if you aren't gonna learn anything in the hospital because by then it would be swarming with countless hordes of other housemen and ...is it possible to learn anything or rather train your practical skills well enough to be a fully fledged know-your-thing-well doctor.

Hmm...Maybe I shouldn't think of working that early..heh heh heh....

But 'Hey! What am I doin' here at my blog when I should clearly be studying my buntut off right now??' :O
Well simple answer, I got headache lah :(......... due to what? Study too much? :'D Sadly no, instead I'm probably slowly gettin' freaked out for the exam since I feel my knowledge of Neurology is so little...proof? I just lau sai-ed (diarrhea) while writing this post. Yes, when I freak out I tend to lau sai...like 3-4 times in the 24 hours prior to the exams.

Anyway, I wanted to write about a theory I founded regarding Russian Examinations;
Through my experience, I believe, to score Excellent marks for these examinations does not only compromise of knowledge but other factors too! :P

Behold! I present you....

"Percentage of scoring excellent marks for exams, you'll need
60% Knowledge
Obviously 'knowledge' of the subject you will need, how can you dream of scoring excellent marks without knowing the subject? :P

30% Luck
This is an ESSENTIAL factor. You can kiss your marks bye bye if you don't have at least some sum of Luck. Because if you're unlucky, you'll get the worst examiner, the worst exam tickets, the harder ECGs, the 'out of topic' extra questions, the topics that you aren't strong at, the wrong timing, the bad moods of the examiner, the...*blah blah blah*...the list goes on and on... :p

10% Impression
The way you present your answers. Answer monotonously and your examiner starts drifting off to LaLa Land. Answer lively and you'll get the examiner's interest and acknowledgment. But don't answer crap stuff lah, cause if the examiner realize the huge error in your answer then their 'impression' of you goes down the drain unless of course he/she isn't that fluent in English and practically understand half of what you're saying, then you're good to ~~crap~~ go. :P Oh, this section also includes your class performance throughout the semester's 'oral test' and that too depends on the above 60% Knowledge and 30% Luck.

To put it simply, if you have prepared for your exams, lets say 55% Knowledge, and you so happen to perform some 'traditional OomBagaGa ritual dance' to gain more luck like 20% and on the day of the exam, you spoke in your most charming manner which would be around 8%, therefore your chances of scoring excellent marks on the day would be an astonishing...
83% !!! "

Nah, that's just my theory....for all you know, I'm might be crapping right now...tee hee heee~!

I'm three days away from my 4th exam for this semester, where most of my course mates received "Avtomat" (meaning don't hav to sit for exams) for Russian Language, I'm one of the other many who didn't D: . That goes without saying, my proficiency in Russian isn't good...at all! Haha! ><"

Though I haven't actually started studying hard for the heavier exams such as Neurology on the 10th and Internal Medicine on the 21st, I've suddenly develop a habit of counting the number of days till 28th (no, not 15th :P) of June.....why? Well because that's the date I'll be FLYING HOME TO MALAYSIA; my home sweet HOME!

On another note, I also realized that I tend to blog or cook more often during exam periods, (probably cause too bored of studying? Hehee~) I can't seem to sit at my desk for hours on end! Guess I AM a true Gemini by heart - fickle minded and constantly in need of NEW challenges or interests to keep me excited! :)

Creamy Caesar Salad with Smoked Salmon

I made these Croutons on my own instead of buying them. I'm sure ur wondering, ''what are Croutons? ''

"A crouton is a small piece of sautéed or rebaked bread, often cubed and seasoned, that is used to add texture and flavor to salads, notably the Caesar salad, as an accompaniment to soups, or eaten as a snack food. The word crouton is derived from the French croûton, itself derived from croûte, meaning "crust"." ~Wiki

Anyway it's pretty simple to make them lah actually...haha!!

First you gotta prepare these ingredients,

Ingredients

§ 6 slices regular, gluten-free, or low-carb bread (fresh or day old), crusts trimmed and cubed

§ 3 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil

§ 1 teaspoon garlic powder and a pinch of salt OR 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

§ 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

Instructions

Preheat over to 300 degrees. Mix melted butter, garlic powder/salt, and parsley flakes until garlic powder is dissolved and mixture is clump free. Toss butter mixture with cubed bread in a medium bowl until cubes are evenly coated. Spread coated bread cubes on a cookie sheet in a single layer. Bake for 15 minutes and check to see if they are dry, crispy, and golden brown. Stir the croutons around and bake for an additional 15 minutes until done.

Then on to make the Creamy Caesar Sauce...I was kinda inspired after trying out a caesar salad in a pretty neat Italian Restaurant in Fantastika.

So I went back trying to figure out the ingredients used and I think this recipe is similar to it :

Creamy Caesar Dressing
3 cloves of garlic
4 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
3/4 cup mayonnaise
2 anchovy fillets
2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons of lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
Salt and Black pepper to taste

Method: In a food processor, puree all ingredients except the olive oil until smooth.
Slowly add the olive oil through the feeder tube until creamy and emulsified.
Check for seasoning and adjust to taste. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.

Anyway here's how my Caesar salad turned out!

U must be thinking, 'wth, not ANOTHER Oceanarium post?! *sighs*' ^^" and i can't help myself but share the same thoughts too..haha! on another note however, they were having an amphibian special showcase at the time and there were a number of species which definitely caught my eye! if you went through my Lisbon album, u would have notice a leech-like frog which look quite geli with its gooey reddish pink internals glued to the glass but on the other side looks like a pretty much normal frog...

Here's one of my few fav froggies!

Next pic, is NOT from the Oceanarium...obviously, I mean why the hell would a Roman Aqueduct be doing in an Aquarium... ^^" It was taken in Segovia, Spain....

On a lil history side note, this Aqueduct was completed at the end of the 1st/2nd century and was built WITHOUT mortar...and that's why it's so freaking AMAZING!! Oo!

p.s: it was used to transport water from mountains situated some 17km from the city...

Had a pretty exciting time at the Oceanarium in Lisbon (supposedly to be the largest aquarium in Europe, though Singapore is the LARGEST WORLDWIDE) lol. Imagine EIGHT 21-year old 'kids' running around the aquarium cam whoring and waddling through the crowd, fighting with little kids just to get a chance of pressing our faces and palms onto the aquarium glass and stare at SHARKS, SUNFISH (u gotta google image dis fish guys, u WONT regret it! ^^"), evil looking electric eels from The Little Mermaid, kawaiiiiiii seals eating prawns, cute lil penguins swimming around and all....gawd! it was just AMAZING!!! well, at least for me it was >

"Alcazar" actually means "fortress" in the Arabic language (al-qasr). You can find many of these fortresses with different architecture around cities in Spain.

This one below is an alcazar found in Toledo, just south of Madrid..It take about an hour by bus to get there.

Next alcazar is from Segovia. Apparently this alcazar inspired Walt Disney to mimic the architecture and built his Walt Disney castle similarly to this. ^^

This is a church hidden in a corner of the old city of Barcelona which was scarred by a near by bomb shell dropped during the WWII; the shrapnel damaged the wall. 22 kids who took shelter in the crypts of this once collapse church died.

Inside the unbelievably beautiful, awe-inspiring and eccentric architecture and interior designing of La Sagrada Familia...

Gaudi was a naturalist, and he decided to built this world heritage according to his personality. The huge columns are like trees and the top ceiling representing sunflowers. He wanted to give the impression of a towering structure which offered shelter to anyone.

It's really worth entering La Sagrada Familia especially for students studying architecture, because it's profound and eccentric architecture of this church is waayyyyy different from the ones I saw in Italy.

La Sagrada Familia is scheduled to be complete by 2020.

This isn't exactly a 'Sunday Project' rather a NewYear's dinner but wth whatever la...haha!

I would call this a Bolognese Lasagne but I did however add additional stuff. ^^"

Actually it's not hard to make Lasagne,really, cause making the bolognese sauce is just like making spaghetti sauce. And instead of buying lasagne sheets which need pre-cooking, buy those which do not need at all...

That's a glass of Reds btw...not wine or anything..hehe!

Lasagne

Ingredients:

450g minced meat

2 tomatoes

1 red/yellow pepper

50g butter

2 carrots

1 big onion

grated cheese

25g tomato concentrate

flour

bay leaves

1 litre vegetable broth

few cloves of garlic

salt and pepper

Bechamel sauce ingredients:

500ml milk

50g butter

50g flour

salt to taste

Directions:

Chop or dice onions,garlic,carrots, yellow pepper, tomatoes.

Brown garlic,bay leaves, onions and carrot in (olive) oil.

Add ground meat and sautee sautee saute...

Add tomato paste, flour and vegetable broth.

Cook until the sauce becomes thick.

Throw in yellow pepper and chopped tomatoes last.

Cook a bit bit more.

Add in salt and pepper.

You can add oregano,basil but it's optional.

To prepare Bechamel Sauce:

Melt butter in saucepan, stir in flour, add hot milk,stir rapidly to prevent forming lumps.

Boil till become thick.

After all these,

Butter sides of an oven proof pan.

Spread ladle of bechamel sauce on bottom of pan and place 1 or 2 sheets of Lasagne (i kiam siap so i oni put 1).

Cover with filling sauce and then 2 ladles of bechamel sauce and sprinkle grated cheese.

Continue like this until you build up 5 layers (I did 3 only since my pan not big enuf) alternating Lasagne and filling.

Lastly, I usually sprinkle the top of my cheese with salt, pepper and some oregano/basil since I'm not using cheese slices like Cheddar or Hochland.

Finally,

Bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees!

p.s: cheese preferably Parmigiano Reggiano but if ur wanna use cheaper cheese u can use any normal cheese.

Enjoy cooking and ur lasagne too!

"Mee Udang"

Ingredients

250-300gm yellow noodle

600gm of big-sized sea prawns (I got 8 big prawns)

5 tbsp of tomato sauce

200gm of tomatoes, diced

400ml of water

4 cloves of garlic, peeled and chopped

6 shallots, peeled and sliced

Cooking oil

2 tbsp of sugar

1 ½ tbsp of chili paste

Light soy sauce to taste

GARNISHING:

3 leaves of lettuce, thinly sliced

2 eggs, hard-boiled, peeled and halved

2 calamansi lime, halved

1 stalk of spring onion, chopped

1/4 of onion, thinly sliced

Fried crispy shallot

Directions

1. Blend the diced tomatoes with 400ml of water. Set aside.

2. Blanch the yellow noodle and set aside.

3. Heat enough oil in a wok, deep fried sliced shallot till golden brown, set aside.

4. Leave about 2 tbsp of oil in the wok, saute garlic till fragrant. Add prawns and stir fry with 1 tbsp of light soy sauce for 1 minute.

5. Pour in the tomato puree. Add tomato sauce and chili paste. Bring the gravy to simmer under medium heat. Add sugar and light soy sauce to taste.

6. Add in the yellow noodle to the simmering gravy. Mix well.

7. Serve up and garnish with onion, spring onion, egg, lettuce, calamansi lime and fried shallot.

Had a great weekend and a BOOYEAH parteh!!!

So I was responsible for grilling and roasting the chickens and with the help of my 3 assistants - Zhuan, Alan & Hari we made yummeh ko ko kai's...haha!

Grilled Chicken with Honey Coating...

I heard from Hyin that both chicken tasted the same, but actually they were suppose to be different, and I suspected that ppl must hafta used the same gravy for both chicken which was actually supposed to be solely used to top the grilled ones...wadeva la..haha!...^_^"

**I edited several recipes to form this one**

Ingredients

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 1/2 tablespoons sesame oil

4 cloves garlic, mashed

2 inch ginger mashed

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

Whisk together the brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and pepper until the sugar has dissolved.

Baked them for 40mins.

NB: When grilling use the marinade to keep basting so it stays moist.

Rosemary Roasted Chicken!

Took 2 hours just to roast one bloodeh chicken... @_@~~

Juicy thighs..mmH!

**JC's edit from several recipes**

1. Preheat oven to 240 degrees.

2. Cut carrots diagonally, onions into wedges. Place on middle of tray.

3. Use spoon to remove skin a little and spread butter all over the back as far as you can go.

4. Rub chicken inside out with generous amount of salt and freshly ground black pepper.

5. Drizzle with olive oil and rub all over bird.

6. Then Cut lemons into quarters and squeeze moderately lemon juice inside cavity. Leave quarters inside.

7. Stuff herbs (rosemary, thyme, garlic unpeeled, 1 onion) inside cavity.

8. Tie end of chicken drumsticks together.

9. Set chicken on top carrots,onions on the pan, with breast side facing upwards.

10. Sprinkle rosemary, scallion, crushed black peppercorns, fennel, basil, oregano (~ 1 ½ tsp each). Pour melted butter all over chicken.

11. Roast at 190 degrees for about 90 minutes, basting every 20minutes.

12. Flip chicken halfway to make sure both sides are crispy and cooked through.

13. Chicken is cooked when thigh meat pulls easily away from the bone and juices run clear.

14. Remove the lemon and garlic from inside the chicken, squeeze all the garlic flesh out of the skin and mush it up and smear it all over the chicken. Discard lemon and herbs and leave it be for 10min. Then carve chicken.

Butter Prawns!!! Ya ya...I know you guys are really pro in cooking butter prawns and probably more so than me ^^" but I still wanna take a couple of pics of my own cooked butter prawns because it was afternoon and the perfect time to take photos though I rarely do so....

That's cus I'm busy in the afternoons and only cook properly for dinner ;p

I LURVE the kerisik (brownish small coconut thingy) hehe!

Ingredients

1 lb large prawns

Oil for deep frying

3 tablespoons butter

6 bird’s eye chilies (chopped)

3 sprigs of curry leaves (use only the leaves)

3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon Chinese cooking wine (rice wine preferred)

6 tablespoons of grated coconut (dry fried until golden brown)

Directions

Leave the prawn heads and shells on but chop off the eyes part. Slit down the back to remove the veins. Pat dry. Heat oil and deep fry the prawns. Drain and set aside.

Melt the butter, add bird’s eye chilies, curry leaves, garlic, salt and fry for 2 minutes or until fragrant. Add prawns, sugar, soy sauce, wine, and grated coconut. Cook over high heat for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently. Serve immediately.

Last week's project was called 'Chilli Con Carne', a type of spicy stew. It's taken from Spanish and it means literally 'peppers with meat' or at least that's what I found on Wiki. ;)

It's made from chilli peppers, garlic, onion, kidney beans and cumin along with chopped or ground beef.

I'm not sure where it originated from actually...haha!

Anyway, it goes well with garlic bread or just normal butter spread bread.

Or you can eat it with pasta too if you so desire.

"Chilli Con Carne"

Ingredients

5 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 large onions, chopped

1 chile pepper, chopped

5 cloves garlic, chopped

2 pounds lean ground beef

3 (14.5 ounce) cans whole peeled tomatoes with liquid, chopped

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 1/2 tablespoons ground cumin

1/2 tablespoon chili powder

2 tablespoons paprika

2 tablespoons dried oregano

2 cinnamon sticks

6 whole cloves

2 (15.25 ounce) cans red kidney beans, rinsed and drained

Directions

In a medium sized stock pot, heat the oil over medium heat. Saute onion, chile pepper and garlic until soft. Add ground beef: cook and stir until meat is browned.

Pour in tomatoes with liquid, salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, paprika, oregano, cinnamon sticks, and cloves. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.

Stir in kidney beans, and cook another 15 minutes. Remove cinnamon sticks before serving.

A Day in 'Okey'

Yesterday Zhuan had extra practical classes (all government students have them, kesian...^^") at a hospital bout 30min away from my hostel. I left the hostel arond 11.30am because I thought his class would end at 12pm, little did I know that his class was extended till 1pm instead. =(

Yup! I ended up waiting for him for an hour but I didn't want to enter the supermarket 'Okey' without him so I decided to take a walk around the area. It was snowing moderately I would say but nahh..it wasn't cold at all. ;p However, the 'little' pigeons near the bus stop were all huddled together and trying to bury their heads into their feathery coat as much as they could. These pigeons here aren't afraid of us unlike in M'sia where they would flutter off soon as you reach 5m to them. Haha!! Here however you can get as close that you can actually STOMP them with your foot. ~~omg~ I'm n-not violent!~~ I meant you can be a step away from them and they still would continue staying still. ^^"

This reminds me of myself and my long, tremendously tough journey ahead with unforeseen events and unpredictable outcomes, however it doesn't deter me from my path because...

Hello! If you read my earlier post, yes, today's project is known as "Dill Risotto with Salmon" :) A high school friend of mine, Audrey asked me to try making risotto last time and so I did. This recipe required 1/2 a cup of dry wine but I didn't have any and obviously not going to buy a bottle of wine just to cook risotto, so I sought an alternative - add more broth. BUT be careful! If you decide to add more broth, you must keep tasting it to make sure it doesn't turn out too salty...^^"

By the way according to wikipedia, Risotto is actually an Italian dish of rice cooked in a technique using broth to release the rice's starch leading to a creamy consistency. In my opinion, it's Ang Moh's Porridge. HaHa! >

So as you can see in the pictures below, they look rather creamy and porridge-like consistency.

Mine wasn't too salty but on a scale of 1-10 where 3 would be normal, mine I would say scored a 4.5 level of saltiness. Haha! Anyway, it still tasted yummy though, Zhuan ate 2 bowls full whereas I could only afford 1. ^^"

Hehe...a late Sunday Project post which I should have updated on my blog last week but I was lazy laa..haha..I saved it as a draft and waited for this week to post instead... ;p

Anyway, last week's project is a simple dish called "Thai Basil Chicken". Really simple to cook compared to today's Risotto, hehe...and yet delightful as well. :)

Minced chicken with taugeh, red chillies and a handful of fresh basil leaves preferably Thai basil leaves if you can.

This dish goes well with a soup because it's a little on the dry side...

Received my 'zacheot' for completing my Internal Medicine cycle today! Yay!!! And so I decided to hang out with a couple of friends at a supermarket called "Okey" :) At first, I didn't think I would spend much since I wasn't really looking to buy anything extra for the month...and just when I commented on Nimo's blog yesterday about how I didn't believe he owned a bottle of Worcestershire sauce since I've been searching for it like AGES around the whole city...and FINALLY! I FOUND IT!!! >_

Hey there, this is kinda like a substitute for last weekend's project which I didn't manage to do. So I decided to make it during the following weekdays instead. Anyway, last week's project is called 'Three Cup Squid' 三杯卷。It's a Chinese dish and I know the name sounds funny but uh, I also dunno why it's called that. Hahaa~ ^^"

p/s: I ganti the Squid with Cuttlefish because I didn't have squid at that time. Taste the same la...yes la...same laa...heehe

I like the sauce really very much because it's spicy, sweet and the consistency is bit pejal. :)

If you're wondering how I curled the cuttlefish like that, hehe...ask me in person...Cus I dunno how to write it out. Anyway, you can experiment it on your own (which I do a lot hehe) and agak-agak know already by looking at the pictures above. ;p Btw, by cutting the cuttlefish like this, is not only for decorative purposes but actually because of the spaces between, it's sorta 'catch'/'hold' more sauce and make it more tasty when you eat.

p.s: if you dun get what i meant, it's sorta like a thick layer of meat with sauce, when you bite, you taste more meat than sauce, but when you cut it thinner you taste the sauce equally as well.

A pretty simple project I know, but hope you like the pics anyway! ^^

Hi guys! Sorry bout last weekend, I fell sick and ended up skipping school on Friday in fact. Luckily my Internal Medicine teacher did not ask me for "Atrabotka", something like a

permission slip from Dean's office, bit troublesome cus I'll need to travel like 20min to the Dean's office. Anyway, she only asked me for a "Referat", a kind of hand-written short essay or rumusan of the topic which I missed. =)

This week has been pretty messed up, I fell sick, gained a few pounds back boo-hoo! , had a 'little' trouble, became bit emo etc. Hmm, I wonder why these unmemorable moments always seem to occur on the day where my Uni would celebrate Deepavali. The year before my family had financial problems and I ended up walking back to hostel after only half and hour at the event.

Anyway back to topic, today's project is of Greek origin and is better known as 'Greek Gyro Sandwich'. Basically it's something like doner kebabs which can be found like the ones sold on streets in Turkey (Greece is just beside Turkey anyway ^^" ) but it's sauce is a tad different. ;P

The sauce looks like Tartar sauce but does nowhere taste like that and instead has a zesty, tangy slight sour yumyum taste to it. It's called 'Tzatziki' sauce.

I had to marinate and basically massage the 'gyro spice mixture' I made into the chicken itself and wrap it in plastic leaving it be for a few hours.

'Tzatziki' sauce - I prepared it using yogurt and drained the liquid out for few hours because I needed it to be like mayo/1000 island/tartar sauce texture. Then I added chopped mint leaves, dill, squeezed a lemon, and mix it with shredded cucumber and etc.

You can use this sauce not only for chicken but also fried fish as well. =)

And that's the end of today's project!

Hi guys! Today's project is something I believe all of you ate before in "Bee's Restaurant" or etc back home in Malaysia. In fact, I think you might have made it yourself too here in Russia. Anyway, it's of French origin and better known as baked "Chicken Cordon Bleu" :D

*cordon bleu - means 'blue ribbon' btw :D

Here's a pic of it right out from the oven, doesn't look like a chicken cordon bleu no?

But then....

VOILA~!!

Dissect it open and you have creamy cheese creeping out from the insides!

Oh, all the glorious sinful goodness wrap up under a layer of ham and chicken. Damn!! did I just put on a few more pounds?? =_=""

If you're wondering...the answer is : no~ this isn't the "every blah project" nor is it the "everyDAY project" @_@ waaa...if I did a "everyDAY project" I don't need to attend classes anymore and just be some typical housewife, sit at home and goyang kaki...

I would say my aunties are really great cooks (since they're housewives anyway) and they really do cook yummylicious stuff like everyday...However, unlike them,my mom don't cook those yummy food everyday and in fact we used to cater food from Mondays to Fridays. At school, whenever the teachers asked "What kinds of food do you love most?" Most of my friends would say "Mom's food is THE BEST" but I on the other hand, think bout 'pizza' la or 'sushi'. Actually, it's not that she doesn't know how to cook but rather she doesn't have the time for it...at all. I pity my mom a lot and love her to bits because although she works like 24/7, tahan my dad's bickering, send us to and forth from school, make sure everything is maintained at home from rosak cars to toilet leakages, yet she still manages to find the time to listen to us, kids when we were in the midst of puberty....u noe...all those teenage rebelliousness, defensive nature,pent up rage and stubborn attitude...

I really do wonder how she manage to go through all those years of working, being a mom, being patient with my dad, hearing us squabble all the time...I guess she's one of a kind...a kind of 'supermom' =D

*she does however cook DELICIOUS food during the weekends but only for dinner... :D

Anyway, back to topic, these dishes are typical dishes I believe all of you cook like everyday for dinner but I still wanna share some pics with you guys ^_^ tee-hee hee~~

First off is 'Sambal Telor' which I cook a few nights ago and ate it with some chicken (4got wad liao) and steamed rice =D

And next is a dish which I cooked for dinner today - 'Spicy Chicken with Cashew' This by the way originated from Thailand. =D It's just a remake of the original Chinese dish but with added local tastes to give it a kind of ZING~~! Because here we would add fish sauce and spices.

I was afraid today's project wouldn't look 'photogenic' enough since cooked frozen prawns aren't so great to photograph compared to freshy juicy ones which we can get all year round back home....but NOT here in icy cold Russia. ^_^ Anyway, the weather's getting colder like 0 degrees and dead set to drop lower in a few weeks...oh gAwd....noooOOOO!

So well...Project #6 is not exactly Malaysian food, I'm not sure where it originated from exactly but uh...it does remind me of fried 'He Ko Bak' with mayonaise sauce...though I don't think it's the same recipe at all. Hahaaa.... ^^"

Oh yeah...today's dish is simply called 'Honey Shrimps with Walnuts'. =)

You can see in the picture that I removed the prawn shells and deveined it and did a little deep frying because I couldn't possibly cook the mayo with the prawns rite... :P

By the way, if you wanna know where to get this cute oddly shaped bowl, I think I bought it from Ikea (or was it Ashan? ^^") for a pretty cheap price like less than 25rubles (or was it more?die,actually i forgot liao haha!)

Bout the walnuts, it's better to get them halved so that the honey/sugar coating would coat it evenly as the amount of the walnut. I didn't buy those crazy expensive walnuts but just the typical common ones sold as Ashan brands. They taste the same ba?? ^^"

You know, actually I'm allergic to prawns and crabs and usually I'd eat only like 1 or 2 biji whenever there's prawns served but this time I habis like almost 4 and MEHH lips now look like Angelina Jolie's bee stung lips except mine ISN'T sexay...damn!

On another note, today I went shopping...again. ^^! And I bought a new Autumn Coat, a handbag, couple of leggings and a brand NEW pair of Sketchers all for less than RM250!

Yupp! A pair of Sketchers itself cost RM250 =D

Hey guys! =D Guess where does today's specialty originate from? ^^

It's called Frikadellen, a kind of German pan-fried, mince meat patty also popular in Denmark.

This is like the German equivalent of 'Ramli burger' and is usually served with potato salad or Sauerkraut, but I just ate potato la for dinner yesterday so decided to make french fries instead. Yala, fries also potato what, but then same same but different okay? :P Hehe~

Anyway, it's usually prepared using minced beef or pork but you can also substitute them with minced chicken instead. Other ingredients you need are like eggs, breadcrumbs, dried basil, white pepper and onions, pretty simple huh? ^_^

These are rather yummy German (Ramli, hah!) patties indeed!!! Ooh lala~!

Btw, I cooked the meat patties whereas Zhuan deep fried the french fries. Simple job hor? Should demote him from Assistant Chef to Assistant nia...haha! ><

Over here, the salad is just a normal common salad with a little condensed milk for dressing. =)

Fattening leh...haha!!

On another note, today Hyin and I went for a little shopping at Fantastika and I bought a couple of stuff but didn't really manage to get the things that I wanted to buy like cheap cardigans, autumn jackets, winter head wear, leggings and stockings. They were all pretty darn expensive nowadays and I however, a cheapskate as I am, is SOOOOOO gonna wait for winter sales to arrive in January and then all the prices will start slashing down like ke-razy! >_

Ahh....I guess I do love shopping~ Heheee~!

A small collection of original PS3 games on loan from my nice cousin brother, Mervyn Ong. ^^! I practically bought a PS3 because was tergoda-ed by him and how cheap it was to buy it in Singapore during Youth Olympics. ^^!

I don't have that kind of moneh man, and who the heck is Orianthi anyway?! Honestly, I thought she was some African 'oom-bagah oom-bagah' singer judging by her name. Mana tau is some Australian guitarist/singer. =="

Aha! A cute sign I saw in Istanbul airport while waiting for my transit back to Moscow. ^_^ ....*sighs* I miss Turkey and their food...Maybe I'm going to cook another Turkish yummylicious stuff soon...but this time it would be their finger-licking good deserts :D

Every Sunday Project #4

Today's food project (if you already noticed in my FB :) is devoted to Italian cuisine which I kinda prepared a lot 2 years ago and stop altogether after getting together-gether with Zhuan since he's the typical "I-LOVE-ASIAN-FOOD" kinda guy. ^^" But I do still cook western food once in a while.........cuz I like mar... :P

This salad here, dunno what to call it since, um, it's Zhuan's creation and he made it for me just after I came back from class since I merajuk that I'm hungry and need something tasty to 'mum-mum' like...right now. ^^" And no, I didn't have class on Sunday, this was made last Thursday. :D Heheh~

This on the other hand is THE "Every Sunday Project" No.4 also known as Spaghetti Alla Carbonara. ^_^! To make it is pretty simple actually, you just need to make sure you got the ratios right like between the cream+egg yolks,parmesan cheese and the spaghetti. It's a little different from other spaghetti recipes because the egg yolks are to be added to the sauce RAW since we need the heat from the spaghetti (once you've strained it of course ==") to 'cook' it instead of you know, normal heat from fire/pan.^^"

Bout the 'liu', um, there's not much actually, you only need strips of bacon and fry it till golden brown with minced garlic and diced shallots and then at the end mix it in.

The green stuff on the spaghetti is actually chopped parsley by the way. =)

Lunch at Caramel =D

I've never been to Caramel before and since it was recommended by my friends, I decided to have lunch there with Zhuan.

I really like the interior designing, environment and ambience inside this so called cafe, it's not too dark, kinda romantic, mushy mushy but still better than "The Kitchen" cafe (I forgot to bring along my camera the other day, oops!! anyway it's really dark in "The Kitchen" cafe ^^!)

I think you'd be wondering 'those 3 pics above are reaaallly dark man, more like some kind of pub' ...but nah~ it's not dark actually..haha! I tried a hand in Lomography using Photoshop, it's some kind of photography involving a certain Russian made camera called 'Lomo' - it's famous for it's obvious side vignetting and cross-processing which kinda bring a different look to the colours in the pic...Actually you can only achieve those photos by using a lomo cam, but now with Photoshop,hehe...anything is possible! :P

Besides, I like the technique and lomo style but yeah...gotta practice more. ^^!

Okay, so Zhuan ordered an European Business Lunch set whereas I just ordered a plate of Lasagne. The lunch set cost 245rub (RM24.5) and my lasagne SHOULD have cost 290rub but turned out to be 310rub (RM31) WTF?! WTF?!!!!!

*I know the price is ridiculous for only such small portions, but seriously Malaysia is abundant with food, practically EVERYWHERE you see food, on the streets, beside the longkang, in alleyways, every few shops a restaurant/bakery/cafe,...in fact...you can see the reflection of food in OUR very own M'sian eyes! That's how crazy we are over food...well, at least I know I am...Heheh...

Russians on the other hand do not crave food like we do...hmm =="...that almost makes us sound like we're so damn poor...wahahaha!

Ok, gettin to the point, basically if you wanna eat nice food outside here in Russia, you gotta pay for it..otherwise balik hostel buat sendiri, jgn harap...huhuhu~~

Even McD burgers here cost like RM7...FOR the BURGER only...no such thing as "Value Meal Set" or "Happy Meal Set" T_T

Anyway, here's the first part of the business lunch set:

A bread and a bun. FUIYO! O_o!

Vege Salad with slices of ham. FUIYO! O_o!

And after that came the main course:

(err, actually there was a soup, but it look kinda miserable though it tasted ok, so I didn't take a pic, if you really wanna know, it looks like when you toss a chicken cube into a saucepan filled with water and sprinkle some dried dill and dump a sliced into two hard boiled egg. FUIYO! O_o!

Main course: Chicken Sashlik with Mashed Potatoes. FUIYO! O_o!

And next was my own order, just the Lasagne:

Visiting Friends.

Yesterday evening, Nimo, Hyin & I went to visit a local friend and her twin sister. ^^

We took Bus No.85 from our hostel bus stop and alighted at Sovietskaya Square. From there we walked about 500m or so and arrived at our friend's - Kesiusha "Ксюша" and her sister Zariana "Зоряна" apartment.

This road is something like a 'taman' road back home in M'sia. ;D

These are the local tram "tramvai" lines. If you noticed, it's pretty muddy nowadays since it's been raining a lot lately...

This is a pre-World War 2 building. There are still people living inside, probably the really old locals. I've never been inside one. Would like to one day...^^ really curious...

These are the cute and really friendly twin sisters. ^^

Aiya...you know how I look anyway...hehehe! :P

We had mix fruit juice of banana & orange and also banana cake specially baked by Ms. Hon Yin - The Iron Chef. ^_^!
And spent hours talking in their kitchen about almost everything. =)

It's pretty interesting to get to know different people from around the world because now I know how we Malaysians are SOOOOO into FOOD!!! Here in Russia or probably European countries, most of the food come in small portions and they seem to eat really little compared to us, gluttons. Back home, if we had guests the first thing we would ask is "Dah makan ke?" "Jom kite pegi minum teh tarik" but obviously we don't only have teh tarik, we would have another dish of nasi lemak, kuey teow, kuih lapis, lobak, etc etc...

Anyway, around 7pm plus we decided we had overstayed our welcome and said 'buh bye' to the twin sisters, surprisingly they accompanied us to the bus stop 600m away though it was pretty cold outside by that time. I kinda think it's a Russian culture to send their guest home no matter how far. :D

We had a really fun day. I found another rabid Harry Potter fan in Zariana and made new friends. Definitely a fruitful day indeed~! >_

Every Sunday Project #3

Today's food project was Assam Pedas Ikan but which eventually turned out to be Assam Pedas Ikan + Udang ^^" Hee hee!!

So I did the preparation of ingredients for the 'paste' and put them in the blender.

Zhuan's job was to well..blend it. =P

Then later I heat up the pan and cook the dish but wasn't really sure about the taste...

So Zhuan did the 'correction of taste' part since he's better in like I said before..the spicy stuff. :D

Here's a couple of pics I took:

As you can see, the lighting isn't that good since it's artificial room light (plus the fact that I'm a noob, so I'm not that good at lighting yet) haha! ^^

I couldn't get a full fish, with body, tail, head and all since it would cost me a bomb here in Russia to actually buy one because here all fish are ice-boxed fishes. It's not like back home in M'sia where we are practically surrounded by seas. =)

Still, if only I could get my hands on a live fish, I bet it look way nicer than this fish here which I had to chopped it all up into cube forms...

If you don't know where's the 'fish' hehe...look at the head of the prawn and the 3 pieces lying around it are the 'cut-up-cube-form-fish' ^^"

A Park Next To A Hospital

Parks are always nice to take photos especially during autumn when the leaves are turning brown and some yet remain green or yellow...

It gives off a kind of feeling...

Like a river which never stops flowing...

Turkish Cuisine

I just wanna tell you guys that from now on, every Sunday I plan to cook a yummylicious dish and snap away because I wanna improve on my food photography skills! =)

Today's dish is inspired by the famous kebabs found in Turkey where I toured few months back in July.

There was a restaurant in Istanbul and they serve the best damn mouth watering Adana Kebabs EVERRR!!!

My remake of it isn't as tasty obviously but it still has some kick in it. =P

Anyway, just for extra info, Adana Kebabs are actually lamb kebabs with a very spicy flavor to it and it's usually served with Ayran (a kind of yogurt drink found in Turkey otherwise known as Kefir here in Russia, though they do not taste entirely the same) =)

Here you can see the two kebabs lying on top of a type of roti called Lavash which is usually used to make Shaurma skins. The mayo salad you see up front is the typical Russian salad composed of corn, crabsticks, mashed up boiled egg with mayonaise.

Here on the left bottom corner is a type of rice known as Basmati rice. It's pretty simple to cook and taste really different from our normal white rice. It has a kind of texture like mee but at the same time it's rice. =) To make it even more fragrant I added...heh heh...butter...yeah yeah I noe...fattening...but I didn't eat banyak oso... XD

The three little cili padis on top are one of the key ingredients used to make the Adana Kebab even spicier. Actually, in the recipe they didn't mention about adding cili padis but uh, Zhuan, a typical Northern Malaysian who are usually born and bred to eat the spiciest cili padi for breakfast, so I err...put a couple of cili padis into the mixture to give the kebabs a more spicy taste.

It was pretty fun cooking this after all, the days where I cook dinner for Zhuan, I don't get to eat the food because well.....D-I-E-T~~~ ^^"

Anyway, Zhuan made the sambal...*mm yummy!!*

Since he's the pro in cooking curry, sambal, laksa, well basically..anything spicy! =)

He also cooked the santan rice (tq Hyin for the santan packet! I will cook something for you soon! >_

Whereas I boiled the egg, cut the timun and fried all the chicken wings. =)

Alas! My tummy is so happy!!!

I took this photo while "strolling" (more like bloody dying actually XD) in the Red and White Canyons of Egypt. This pic was taken with my old camera - Olympus miu-720SW - a present from my parents after graduating from high school. It's a 'point & shoot' cam and a pretty old model (2007) too I might add, that's why the shot isn't as focused as it should be. A handy, durable & resilient cam but eh...probably non-existent by now. Ha! =)

So sad...apparently everyone else is using this super cool wireless Suncity line but I'm still however stuck with the damn uni line which eats money like nobody's business!!

Tried to fix an external modem into the computer to test if it could recieve the signal but I guess over this side of the hostel none of the computers can pick up the darn signal...BS!!

ARGH!! SO frustrated these days...

Eulogy

They asked me if I wanted to add anything else into the eulogy...
The thing is, I didn't know what to write or say and I didn't want a whole crowd to listen to what I had to say to him....what I wanted to say to him was for his ears only...and yet I didn't get to tell him that except pass along a message through my elder sister...

On the following day after the event,my brother advised me to speak to my relatives online but I really didn't want to...
I didn't want to think about the facts or remember them, I didn't want to dwell on the matters because I knew what I would feel and I didn't liked that feeling of overwhelming sadness...because... I didn't want to cry.

I've never experienced this event before in my life and I really don't know how to react to it...
I remember when I was young and when some of my friends had this experiences, I'd think what I would feel if its was my mother/father - I only know that I would feel so lost, without anyone to support me, scared and terrified. To say that I'm lucky because I'm not too young when this happened or that it may have happened to my parents may be true but it doesn't kill or dampen the sorrow you would feel in your heart.

I also remember telling my brother a few months back about what I feared would happen before I came home but he told me that it would never happen, that it's not possible...
I should have listened to my gut instinct and flew home earlier...
Now I somehow can feel my brother's sadness, because he had just graduated and he was excited to show his graduation photos and tour trip photos, yet fate would not let him do so...

I wrote an earlier post in anger and in sadness on the day it happened, but I deleted it because I didn't think he would have acknowledge it - that I directed my anger and despair at other people when it had nothing to do with them really...

What I really want to say is that when you guys go back this summer, please take time and spend more of it with the ones you really love. Don't think that 'it would never happen' or that 'there's always next year' because I never thought it would have happen to me either.

Really, everything in this world is impermanent, and before they are lost, remember to cherish and treasure them as much as you can before it's too late...

Studying? NOPE! though i haven't watch Criminal Minds or any movies lately, however, i've been playin battlestations more than i should! crap! i kinda broke one third of my promise to god... =( i'm really not prepared for path phys either and i hope to come back with at least a 4.
I can't study already, my mind is like off to La La Land n i can't seem to find it!
coupled with the hot weather and the thought of my exam finishin and oso the temptation to play Battlestations, i tink i'm going to do really bad for this exam....aigo....
i jus hope i can answer the questions and not leave blank unwritten papers...

Yesterday I "indirectly" touched Battlestations and I think God has punished me! Right before I was about to sleep, I rub my eye ONCE, and the next thing I know my left eye starts to get this kind of sensation - like ur eyelash entered ur eye and u can't get it off! T_T
I mean, i didn't touch battlestations DIRECTLY, i pinjam-ed zhuan's hand and put it on the mouse while he was talking to Jack and then i put my hand ON TOP his hand and *click click* my battlestations account laa...does that count as Playing Battlestations?? ==" I guess God gave me his opinion on that matter an hour later b4 i was about to sleep...*SOBS*

Now my left eye still itches whenever I close my eye, I tried washing it off several times, but it seems like there's SOMETHING stuck under my upper eyelid and i just can't get it out....
It's been getting to me, and I can't seem to concentrate on my studies cus of the irritating, annoying, *SCRATCHES EYE OUT* FEELING!!!! AHHH!!!

I really REGRET using that "technique" of playing battlestations...

I'm such a hypocrite, procrastinator & one huge lazy fat bum bum!!! ^^
After my Internal Med exam, which was 9 days ago, I thought "Yes! Now at least I have time to study and prepare myself for Path. Anat (22nd)" .....WRONG!!!

Like in my previous post, I ended up watching too many series to count, a number of movies, sleeping like a pig, lazing around and god knows what else I did in this tiny 3m x 5m room for the past 9 days. T_T

Now I'm only 1 day away from my exam, and I honestly can say that - I'M NOT PREPARED AT ALL FOR MY PATH ANAT EXAM!!!! AHHH!!!! so scared so scared! Plus on my exam date - "Artifeksova the Triple AAA gun" will be there!! What if I fail?! God, please spare me of that! Hope to get 4 at least, (though I would like a 5 haahaa!). You know, usually when I'm about to sit for my exams, I kinda know that I would at least get a 4 with my efforts n preparation and if I'm lucky - hit the jackpot.... BUT for Path Anat, I don't have that feeling that I would get a 4 ya' know (bcus i'm not prepared?) . I kinda feel like I might just get a 3 with the little knowledge that I have.............oh gawd...wad have I done to myself?!

The worse part is, I keep playing this Facebook Game called Battlestations and I'm SO HOOKED on it. I've been playing it for like the past 5 days straight. Every precious hour I must log in and spent the minutes to *click click click* a 100 times away...Crap!!!

You know wat, I'm so tired (haha! lazy ppl always say this word) or LAZY to study liao...

8 days to go before I sit for my Path Anatomy and for the past 2 days I've already watch Pirates of the Caribbean 1, 2 AND 3 , Legally Blonde, How to Train Your Dragon and a couple of episodes of Criminal Mind. All of them are pretty nice movies, enjoyable, entertaining and funny, a great way to relax! =)

Path Anat...Path Anat...I'm not sure how to study this subject, it seems more of memorizing details rather than linking them. Like for example, I hafta memorize how would a heart look like if there were fibrin deposits on the pericardium or if there was edema in the lungs, how it would look like upon incision. Yeah, I know you'd say that edema mar more fluid and heavy and flabby consistency etc etc etc....aRGH!!!! Guess I'm just too lazy to spin my brain a little faster... =="

I just finished my Pharmacology and Surgery exams and in 3 days time I will sit for the toughest subject this semester -Internal Medicine. T_T

..............................and I'm still not prepared for it....at ALL!!! *commits suicide*

Just when things get tougher because of so short gap to study so much topics, Lihan informed me that we have CLINICAL CASES to study since Dr.Pavlovna mentioned about it during Consultation on the date I took my Pharmacology exam (yesterday). I should have went & listen, at least I will get a gist of what's going to come out but I was too lazy , came straight home after exam and slept. Aigo~~ this is what u get for being lazy... T_T

Anyway, I know I know I shouldn't care so much bout getting Excellent results or what, believe me when I tell you that I have already comforted and consulted my heart many times on this matter - that getting 5 doesn't mean anything except that "You're Lucky!" but somehow sometimes there's this nagging feeling that keeps nag nag nag and NAG at me bout "You shouldn't give up but try HARDER and get THAT 5!!" Aigo~~~ "What's the big deal la" my brain tells my heart. Yet my heart keeps nagging sometimes and just cannot shut up bout it.
When it gets to that boiling point of getting frustrated and tensed all over the STUPID 5, I will turn on my "Sare Sah Da...Sare Sah Du....Sareh ha man du~~~" Metta Chanting songs...to calm my heart and tell it to 'chill la'....

I just hope everything goes very smoothly during my Internal Med exam and of course for all my friends too!! ^^! I always believe when we struggle hard, grow wiser , and acheive goals in life together - it makes the whole world seem brighter and our lives more colourful too! The feeling of doing things together and helping each other out gives me a very satisfying feeling. =)

So guys, let's work hard and struggle through it all together~!!! Aja Aja FIGHTING!!!

T_T sob sob sob...my pharmaco teacher postponed my Pharmaco exam at the last minute to this coming Thursday...I can't wait to finish the exam because the following week I have Surgery and I haven't STUDIED A THING FOR IT! And I only have like *counts fingers* FOUR DAYS to study it. I might as well crap in my pants now... T_T

I really wonder how Zhuan manage to stay so "focused"-haha! he's not the study everyday type but the point of "focused" is that he kept his mind and ketabahan(izzit called that?) strong all the way till the end. It's like a marathon, if you can't keep up you're out...so that's why I've got to steel myself and keep going, never give up! Never lose that precious minute but use it well...such as for taking a nap! =) Hey! I believe taking naps are important...I tell myself if I wanna waste time better do it sleeping since I won't get much of it for the next month...

Already haven't sat for my first exam and I'm on the verge of breaking down...Fuhhhh!!! JANE CHUAH YOU NO BACKBONE AH?!
